1931 — Began manufacturing and selling scientific laboratory equipment in Kyoto.
March 1, 1939 — Reorganized from a privately owned shop into a limited company.


From pre-war years (1939–1950), manufactured and sold electric furnaces, high-voltage generators, and laboratory/medical scientific equipment at the Kyoto factory.


During the war (1941–1945), served as a cooperative plant of the Navy Electrical Industry Association, manufacturing high-frequency induction furnaces.


In 1945, Osaka was devastated by air raids. The company manufactured household bath boilers using scrap materials to support post-war daily life.


In 1946, produced and sold Japan’s first hand dryer.


From around 1945 to 1952, established a Metal Analysis Association (Industrial Metal Materials Analysis Laboratory).

Company Name Change

February 28, 2014 — Company name changed to Kansai Electric Heat Corp.
